I've run into a few "truckers" washing their feet in truckstop sinks. Nothing prepares you for seeing that.

My wife can tell you lol, when I'm behind the wheel all the mirrors belong to me!! :) I'm constantly looking at my mirrors, the windshield, and listening to the truck and the CB. I hate to look at the passenger mirror backing up or just driving, and see the back of someone's head lol.

I had a trainer tell me "I looked at the mirrors too much".. on my first week by myself driving east coast in a manual, when I was trained west coast in an automatic.. I hit 2 telephone poles, and the front of a tractor.. trainer #2 came.. and I've learned the hard way, idc how much I look at them since then

When the wife rides with me (and she has her CDL-P so she knows...) NO mirrors are hers. None... all belong to me! (Yeah, even the one on the passenger visor. Mine. Or her ##### head gets in the way.) It's not about her hair and lipstick..(she knows that, actually...) it's about MY swivel. All of it.

Sound, also OSWV. If she wants music, it's on her iPod. I listen to the engine, always. And of course, the CB, for impending or probable issues. Great advice.

My ONLY passenger(s) are those that are "TomCat" compliant; ergo, I usually travel alone.

@Heathar ... i hope and wish the best for you. Whomever told you that the mirrors were not your friends, behind the wheel, needs a "refresher" course. I'm sure some of us here could provide that, LoL~!
