Hi Everyone,
I've been gone from TTR since 2012 but now back and looking for work! Social Security is a joke!
I was forced into an early retirement in 2009 after cancer and from brain surgery which has its problems. They have been taken care of finally.
I've been driving a 31' RV with no problems and flying a paraglider. Yeah not the same.
Still have my CDL with no endorsements but an M.
I know your insurance will want recent experience. I can handle a trainer for a little while if needed. The newest HOS I'll need to train up on! Paper was still around when I left!
I have a few posts in here to check on my work ethics for you to read, but get a pot of coffee!
But, if you need a driver that keeps equipment up, has good customer service skills and will do a multi day with multi drops in NYC in a NYC minute and only needs an APU, decent pay and treatment to stay happy, then I might be your new driver!
I've pulled dry, reefer, tankers including phumamic, bottom dump, dump, auto, flat, container. I can even shift up to 15 speeds! I can do anything but lift over 30 pounds so flats are out.
I will be ready to hit orientation after My 6th.
Close to Springfield, Mo would be perferred.
If you insist on paying a perdiem please don't waste your time contacting me with that ripoff! Just pay your drivers another 1cpm!
Thanks for reading!

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
Have to come out of retirement. 32 year OTR VET needs job!

Too bad you are in Springfield, my uncle has just as much experience as you and for now he is still doing paper logs. He is having to Team now because they will be going to e logs, he gets a load here out of Texas going to Nevada or California then gets the same load out of South San Francisco going to Dallas. He does this every week starting out Monday or Tuesday and back Saturday morning to unload and go home. They have other Teams and some are still solo.Rollover the Original Thanks this.

Paper, e logs its all on a clock that's never in a drivers favor!
I can't do teams after 32 solo! That includes girl friends or a wife!
Everyone I've talked to say I'll need a refresher course. Oh great! Hard to even find a training Co that gives refresher courses!

He was solo forever too so yea I know, we tried to Team and it lasted a month lol. Well I know Swift ( I know, I know) will let you go by yourself, a lady went there after being put of the truck for three years and they gave her a truck and said have at it. Honestly though, if you get on a dedicated account, team or train, Swift is not bad to work for a while until you get some recent experience in.Rollover the Original Thanks this.

Oh, if you do that, hire on at the Memphisl Terminal or ask for the best one because some suck.Rollover the Original Thanks this.
