I love the Volvo I-Shift. It drives just like my car.

 

Also known as an AMT, "automated manual transmission". Internally, the same as a standard, but everything is computer controlled.

And that's the problem.

 

No problem for me. I like driving autos. I really love the autos in a traffic jam. Driving a stick is like changing the oil yourself. It's an over rated experience.

 

Trucks aren't supposed to drive like a car because it doesn't give you the required control in a number of situations.

 

I have always had all the control I needed.

 

Hopefully they will all be auto eventually.

 

Then your experience has been of a limited scope. They do fine for some things but not so great for others.

 

Nope im not doing heavy haul so I don't need a truck with multiple sticks.
