WTF?? Not sure what happened there, no snow and minimal wind, just looked at the current weather conditions thinking maybe it was wind.

You can roll a truck at 10 MPH.
lovesthedrive Thanks this. -
Doesn't have to be a factor.........But what I do see is no chains or straps in any condition and a car from the lower deck sitting between the decks. Hmmm....a man would expect to see broken chains hanging from the deck or torn straps or something like that.....
Lepton1 and lovesthedrive Thank this. -
In looking at Google Earth, it appears that Rosecrest has a slight grade, and a slight curve. But neither one of those should cause a rollover. While I'm not as certain as the OP about speed not being a factor, because of it being a residential area, I'm guessing that he is right.
So, grade, + curve, + mechanical failure, perhaps a steer tire, or some component of the steering?
Whatever caused it I'm betting the driver that was trapped for 2+ hours was not a happy camper! That's a long time to be trapped in a wreck, particularly if this is a metro area, (I'm not familiar with it,) that has modern extrication equipment.
Sure hope that driver pulls through! What an ordeal.Snailexpress and Broke Down 69 Thank this. -
Several more pics here. Nothing jumping out as a cause. Tires look good. Steering "appears" good. Etc.

WOW, thats less then 2 miles from where I live. This does have a slight grade but nothing of real note. These are all new sub divisions going in.
Weird, I didnt even see this on the local news but seen it here. lol #### IT MAN!Snailexpress and Big Don Thank this. -
But did you notice the tractor? A white Volvo? 'nuff said?

-
And a Texas tractor too. Dunno bout them tires Rusty, I'd need to be closer but sure think I see a few bad ones on the drives and trailer.....
Note the F150 in the back left....it's 90 degrees to the truck from the possible direction he was rolling. ( Off Rosecrest ? ) Lost maybe? I still cant see any evidence of tie downs destroyed or otherwise....call me crazy but shouldn't a properly secured car with 4 j hook chains stay on the deck no matter pretty much any external force?
And of more interest, note the distance to the curb from the steer tires vs the trailer tires, substantial suggesting a whip motion with slide outbound. How much for the driver coming off Rose crest and turning right on Autumn crest with an unsecured load.....that looks like a Dodge 2500 crew diesel in the front....6500 plus pounds right there, I like the upper deck for 12k payload......makes an excellent fulcrum to lay her over and cause the whip action especially if he has 3 light weights down below. ( Article says 6 plus cars )
My prayers to the injured driver.......and of course JMOLepton1 Thanks this.
