What is Oilfield Trucking Like? Are There Many Oppurtunities?

Moving equipment with schlumberger. It was through I temp agency. The schedule was 14 on and 6 days off.

 

That's an awesome theory. Gotta say tho with my 6+ years of experience up there (including this winter) that's just not the case.

The bakken, mostly out on the Rez. Sand work.

I work out of here, but company is based in Mandan, which is where I'm from. Just gonna head home for the weekend!

 

Been through boom in n.d and Oklahoma.great while it lasts, we lost everything went from making 2500 a month in car payments and easily affording it to losing absolutely everything.best not to put all your eggs in one basket as they say..roads and weather conditions are harsh..

 

Are you required to shave for schlumberger if you truck?

 

I gave up on Pennsylvania sand hauling and decided to give frac a try here in North Dakota. It's not like it was a few years ago and I was hauling oil and water out here but they have been keeping me busy 100 plus hours a week. Not really a truck driving job more of a laborer job but it's paying the bills.
