No wonder it came off the jack. The idiots are using the incorrect jack for the application. Remember for the future, if the truckstop owns the shop they are to be limited to gladhand seals and mud flaps. I would not trust them to add washer fluid, too close to the motor.
Petro shop just broke my oil pan. Compensation?

What used to Piss me off back in the day when I worked in the body shop at a GM car dealer.
Body shop only charged like 36 an hour while the mechanical end was billing at 90.
so body men made squat compared to a mechanic and had to deal with their job quotes being beat up by a insurance adjuster.
A barely trained monkey kicked out of the circus can be a mechanic at a dealership, takes a fair bit of skill to be a proper body man and painter .Last edited: Apr 13, 2017

I used to like TA/Petro shops, but i learned my lesson. Fortybately it was only in the check book.
Dateline: Dallas, TX, lights on Volvo aren't going on correctly. Check and advise takes the knucklehead 1 1/2 hours, so they get a veteran and 2 minutes he determines that it's a Volvo thing, they can't fix it. They wanted to charge me 1 1/2 hours and their book time is only 1/2 hour. I protested and got it half way there.
Dateline: Sawyer, MI. I had a flat on chassis. I carry spare mounted aired 10.00:20 tire. TA's policy on mounting split ring wheels is they deflate them first. So they deflate the good tire and the spare. The good tire that was on wouldn't inflate because of the stem. Because I was tired at 3 in the morning, I didn't put up a protest, and paid to have it fixed.
I will still use them for PMs and fixing tires, but I assume they're trying to screw me and start off that way. -
Ya any time it climbs the crown of the road like that its time to go back to the alignment shop. They might blame it on the tires and claim its a tire pull. You can switch them from side to side and see if it pulls the other way. Alignments can turn into a bit of a pita.Last edited: Apr 13, 2017

I've seen a driver put Def or ad blue as we call it back home in the radiator.
He had been telling everyone he had been a mechanic working on trucks for last 10 years.. he couldn't even disconnect a trailer let alone reverse one... -
@visoiuvlad mate i hate to say it, but you had probably a combined 200+ years of experience telling you to tow it to the dealer.. you chose not to listen... now you still have a problem that you paid to be fixed and they damaged your truck and you lost 2 days....
I also figure you didn't get anything in writing about compensation either hey..... -
Shoulda called Dr Kevin Rutherford, he'd know what to do. Do you have a scan gauge??
Grubby, HillbillyDeluxeTruck, Oxbow and 9 others Thank this. -
No body seems to listen to the people who deal with these idiotic issues almost weekly, then they wonder why in the hell they lose money and time then come here and complain how bad things are for the O/O.spyder7723, Eldiablo and LoudOne Thank this.
