When I started, the equipment was 96" wide. 102" wide became law in the early 80's. Trucks and full size station wagons in the belly were a royal #####.

About the same around, was taller back then. 6'6", due to bad spinal discs, now 6'3" Carhaul and trucking in general will do that to you.

If you don't know anything about loading, unloading and hauling cars I highly recommend that you jump on with a company where you can get some training before you try to do it on your own because I promise you sooner or later you are going to bang something up.

Every car hauler in the world has banged up something eventually. Hauling BMWs is not a good place to start. Before you haul BMWs you should be an experienced car hauler because damages can be incredibly expensive.
