Although she was teaming with her husband, he wasn't in the truck when it happened.
Can't he get a job in trucking? Or maybe he is since the article was published...Last edited: Apr 15, 2017

Antique bridge. $750K is not replacement but restoration costs?
I think $750K sounds cheap even for teardown and replace!
The I90 rebuild in Illinois from O'Hare and westward... wait for it.... 4 Million a day! IIRC

And has since reopened under a new name.
Was Northwest Freight, now Louisville Logistics.tinytim Thanks this. -
Costs are et:al. Likely she destroyed the footings on the bank with her weight and then twisted the iron. You have to lift the bridge out, ##### damage to everything, have engineers with civil and structural licenses redraw everything, get it approved, award bid etc.... My cranes ( 90 to 100 T ) are $2100 a day...every day. Many charge travel, escort and fuel.....I've paid as much as $8000 a day for one 100T and all it's support.
$750k is light IMO...... be more like just resetting the bridge . I'm sure the carriers insurance co. wasn't happy. -
Well, that depends. Are you talking long ton, or short ton?

Oh yeah, and is it Tuesday, or Friday?
Are you talking a ton of feathers, or a ton of bricks. (This was actually a question I heard asked, very seriously, one time.)
