I use progressive insurance, you won't get a three day policy but it's only 150.00 a month. Heck of a lot better than paying to tow

I've tried progressive, they said 22,000 up front which is impossible dont understand why maybe cause im in nyc is hard dont get it well had to postpone everything till i figure out what to do good thing i didnt sign any papers with the finance company so was able to camcel the whole deal minus filling fee,#### so any ideas what i should do before i buy a truck can i get my own authority without having a truck,,,seems to me you dammed if u do and u dammed if u dont, just a minor set back can i get little help on what to do,, ive been driving for 17 years never tought about being owner op till now,,,####,,i started of bad from the beginning

if you are to go the own authority route your first year will be ridiculously high, survive that first year and it will drop to half, all these guys losing buttloads of money on the leased on side of trucking. you gross 200k a year and give up 20-25% thats 40-50k for 10k cost to leased on comp smh,30-40k profit for virtually a headache
