All those companies require experince I'm sure but could be good places for the future

It's only company I've worked for and I can't really complain about them. Most of loads are atleast 1k miles per trip and since you have driving experience you can easily get hired on at no less than 46 cents a mile for every mile even Bobtail. I do talk to the dry van guys in the company and I recommend you don't go that way. Do tanker at sni or nothing. Bout a 500-600 dollar week difference most weeks, between them and me most of the time. Not all time I hope.. I'm not exaggerating either, We compare pay statements. Now they are not the old timers and heck they might just being super lazy or whatever I'm not sure. But to get that experience in tanks and to be able to make not the highest pay but definitely it's far from the bottom.. try sni out for a year and then stay or move on to a better tanker gig if u can find it. in sitting in Houston to unload now in the morning. I left Keasby NJ Thursday afternoon, Tomorrow I grab a loaded trailer and head back up to Detroit.. If u like to run And wanna make good pay, you can do it here.. ... oh and i laugh everytime I read or here on cb someone saying something negative about snbc bulk especially when I see my pay check at end of week. I really think they just think sni doesn't pay well.. or maybe they just started with me which I doubt

I drive van with sni and the pay sucks. I would like to do tankers but sni told me i have to wait a year. I don't think I will be with them long I cannot make it off the pay.

Man I hate to hear that but I know your telling the straight up truth.. I got a couple buddy's in the same boat as you are. They want to switch to tanker but sni makes excuses to not let em switch. And they also aren't making enough for family to make it. What per mile are they giving you now? Maybe they will bump you up if you talk to DBL , it's worth talking about to them

One more question for all you experienced SNI drivers. I received a conditional job offer upon orientation. I've done this a few times, so I know the routine, and pretty much prepared.

My questions are
1# Ive been out of a truck since 2008. SNI offers a refreshing course for 3 days out of state, then orientation. I feel comfortable and beleive that feel will comeback, but dont want to get to the orientation and training and lock up either. Last time out upon earning my CDL, I drove only 8 months.

2# What does this orientation consist of? He explained that it would be lots of training, but will it be enough for me to get refreshed and pass SNI final driving test? Again, its been a while, I know I can do it, just got the jitters and wanna be sure.
