    In most States now 15 over the speed limit is careless and Reckless a misdemeanor if you're driving a big truck have some Vaseline

    That's a tough break. Better get a lawyer. I'm surprised they got a ticket. 80 mph seems to be the normal speed in Va., even on the Beltway, where the speed limit is 55 mph.

    Lol absolutely nothing to do with being from the north and everything to do with the flagrant violation of traffic laws. Yes 15 over is a misdemeanor and could be charged as reckless driving.

    Over 80 in Va is trouble and yet 80 is getting to be the speed limit a lot of places out west. And 85 on the toll road aroumd Austin, Tx.

    The speed limit is 75. Going 5 under in Wyoming, you're 15 over in CA. As much fun as 90 sounds like in a truck, I think most people would think that getting caught going that fast should be more than an infraction
