Must have a fairly decent size yard. Wonder how many guys were just watching as the first guy made the first right hand turn out of the yard.

At least its in a B train configuration. I'd be scared if they had 2 converter dollies mixed in.

 

They are not that bad. I can keep the wiggle between the lines!

 

Loblaws runs triple 53's from Regina to Saskatoon. All 3 are loaded. But they don't enter the cities. They are split on the outskirts of town. Heavy snow or high winds is a no go!

 

I heard some BS you had to take course to haul LCV. It's not a endorsement to your license in Ontario. I figured was BS since LCV are just a-trains,, and then some. I got LCV /EEMV certificate in mail today, never took any course, total surprise.
Guess companies hand them out like forklift licenses.

Not fraudulent. This is how it works in Ontario. Similar to when we got our licenses upgraded to AZ just with a signature from the boss back in the '70's. The LCV qualifications in Ontario means many of the usual suspects will not meet criteria. Thats a relief.
I just wondering if we got our foot in the door somehow to run LCV' down the north shore of Lake Superior. That would be about the most fun you could have with your clothes on

LCV Driver Certificate

• Carrier may issue an Ontario LCV Driver Certificate valid for one year to employee or contracted drivers, providing the driver meets all LCV driver eligibility criteria. Documentation to support eligibility must be retained for at least two years and provided to MTO upon request.
• The Ontario LCV Driver Certificate (in combination with the driver’s licence) allows the driver to operate an LCV for the issuing carrier in Ontario.

 

I’m very thankful those are not accepted west of Ontario.
