The GPS made the truck go there! Not the drivers fault. They should be the first to buy a fleet of autonomous trucks.
Well, I also became a victim of Mega drivers...

I still cannot visualize this incident, unless they did it on purpose out of some spite. Or there was a grade and they rolled. Once, I saw a driverless truck rolling in front of a fuel island when the guy was in the back doing a logbook. I jumped in like a superman and pulled his brake valve and saved him from a collision. The guy looked lost seeing me entering his truck, but did not mind after he realized I saved his ###. Nowadays, I probably would not do a thing, thinking it is a selfdriven Otto.
Getsinyourblood and G13Tomcat Thank this. -
that's surreal. You can hang this on a wall thinking it is a piece of art.

See post #10.. @Skate-Board nailed it. Or as close to "sense" as any of it makes, how the O/P would be at fault!

WTF? They just ran right into you!!! No way they can claim you hit them!!!! Unless of course you were fouling some drifting moves in the lot?

Last week, some guy decided to back up in a fuel line and hit my truck with his trailer. They offered money on the spot. I asked the driver to write a statement for his responsibility of the accident. And they begged me for not to call the cops. And they were going to pay out of pocket. Then the next day I've talked to the owner of the company and he said they are not responsible and therefore they will not pay. I called their insurance, sent the copy of the letter i got from their driver. They are getting my truck fixed and will be paying me for the loss wages. What is the reasonable number for loss wages per day? I just dont know anything about this part.
