    I can understand folks being upset over losing the trees. But what they likely do not realize, is that cottonwood trees are flat out dangerous when they get that big! I've seen way too many with pretty large branches broken off. I've also seen them uprooted by high winds. Of course, in Evanston, or any other part of Wyoming, high winds aren't a problem......
