Yes. But the agreement has supplements for each area. Wages are generally higher in more urban areas vs. wages in rural areas.Lonesome Thanks this.

Interesting, didn't know that.
-
The UPS Master also has supplements for each barn, I'll periodically read on here that UPS pays "such and such". Sometimes the barn in my area pays less, sometimes more. (I think they're in the $38/hr range in Local 30).

UPS pay is all the same across the board

mine took about 2 months, i called them every F*$&ing Friday and i waited on hold every Friday to speak to the hiring manager that I had my interview with, after weeks of hearing the same ######## of we're still trying to verify your employment i finally said what happens if they cant? I mean realistically someone isnt working on this 24x7 am i just screwed because someone gave up or did i get placed on a back burner and youll attempt it in 2 more months?
A few days later my call came that I was hired, unfortunately for them I was in my underwear, on a physical table waiting for the doctor to come in because I got into UPS lol.
I figured maybe they intentionally jerk everyone around a little and see who will call and follow up and be persistent, after all you will be on a call board and if you don't have patience and persistence the call board life isn't going to work for you. My first boss did this to me when i was trying to get some in house training to get my CDL 3 different times he told me to call back on a certain day. After I called back and back and back eventually I got my free training offer. -
Is that Newark Ca? Just wondering because I have heard that some of the LTL companies in California have gone to a hourly rate on their linehaul and no longer pay per mile, it had something to do with new California labor laws I was told.
