Dedicated runs are great unless you run a lousy route like that one. 65 blows...

True. I like that run Danny Herman Trucking has where you drop down to I-10 and head west and get on I-8 in Arizona then on to Calexico, CA. It's not dedicated, but they run it a lot.BigTennOTR Thanks this.

Teams do really well at line haul companies. Line haul is usually just drop & hook. Some make well over $200K per year doing line haul. Estes Express bought new Kenworths for their teams and there's a terminal in Smyrna. Old Dominion is another good line haul company.
Saia has about 4 terminals in TN and has line haul for teams.
R&L Carriers has line haul for teams. I think they also have a terminal in Nashville.
One Old Dominion team said they make $225K running to California and back.
Anyway, lots of good money making choices for husband/wife teams.
Do some research on these companies and maybe find a good fit.Eowyn Thanks this. -

They just redid crossvilles drag strip.....very very nice place as long as it just wont be bracket racing track....

Do you ever visit the nudist resort in Crossville? Those old retired UAW workers like to strut around there, so the local rumor is. It's funny they choose a "at will/right to work" state to retire in. I've talked to a few of those retired UAW workers there and they were really nice people and said it took a while to relax and be laid back like the local culture is in Crossville.Last edited: Apr 23, 2017

Chinatown Thanks this. -
If you're a husband and wife team and want line haul I would go with Old Dominion hands down..
They run a lot from east Tennessee to SoCal turnarounds.
