    What's the best way to find home daily or similar jobs. Im in meridian Mississippi if anyone knows anything. If anything else I'll take advice about how to start looking

    Most postal contracts get you home daily, despite running in sleeper trucks. The theory is that if something goes wrong, you might have to do a long break in the truck, but normally the long runs are done as relays. Check out the names on the trucks at your nearest postal distribution center... :)

    Lots of local fuel haulers in meridian. That's not for everyone, but it is local work.

    I got my application in with the biggest beverage distributor here being coca cola. Its beemln almost a week and i haven't heard anything even after leaving two voicemails. The supervisor over the distribution side is always out in the market and not in the office

    Google & craigslist. Google trucking & your hometown or look in craigslist for the nearest CL town. If you see daycabs driving around your town write those company names down and call them.
