Some of your blades look very good. I have to hang on to my small Kabar for what its worth. It might not have certain strengths being mass produced, but I like to think you would have to look pretty hard to find a blade good for service.
Have a serreted blade part way is a asset, it stays sharper longer imho. -
Holy cow, they're about the same size.
is it legal? -
This is my current everyday carry. Its a Spyderco Paramilitary 2, made in Colorado.

It's not going to be in FMCSA but state & local laws. Nothing in FMCSA about not beating your kids or robbing banks, but it's illegal nonetheless.

When using a knife for self defence, remember that the longer your blade is, the further up your backside the person who took it away from you can stick it. Size of the blade is of far less importance than skill with the blade. I will stick with running or gunning, as appropriate for the situation.

Have used my blade 1000x. Never once in self defense.Lepton1 Thanks this.

I'd rather bring a gun to a knife fight!
IluvCATS and AtticusRoad Thank this. -
Knife: utility tool, package opening, cord cutting, food prep, quick first aid, etc. And..last ditch self-defense and escape . Pistol: self defense only.
