3/8 chain. I didn't hook chain to the trailer I looped it around the stake pocket and hooked back into the chain on top of the counterweights and then put my binders in the center

Do you know how to make a bulkhead with wood 4x4s yet? Or an x chain on the nose of a load?

First pic isn't a perfect example. If that was your counterweight the X would be on the front face, with the chains alternating going on top then under to the other side.

Bulkhead should be as tight as possible. Figure out where you want the load. Build your bulkhead, load the piece behind it touching the load to the bulkhead. If you try to do it after loading you may not have a stake pocket in the right spot.

Both are used to stop forward momentum in a hard brake. You could probably add your X chains to your aggregate but I do not.

You know what an aggregate is, right?

If I understood, you picked up the load, and delivered it the same morning @ 11am, after waiting 2 days to load. Must have been a real short haul. If that's true, I hope you got a good rate.

Hard to tell from that picture, I'd say not under the load. Take a good look at the shadows from the trailer and the slab being lifted. He appears to be at the edge of the shadow, with the load to his left.

Negative. Picked up the load 7am on the 25th, delivered 9am on 26th. The 2 day wait was well spent doing local work.

2 3/8 chains on a 22000 lb object still ain't enough for me. I'd throw at least 2 more chains on each weight
