Speeding tickets not showing on mvr

Its there somewhere could take up to a yr before it shows.Like I said you're not going to get off that easy.The courts have files and files of traffic violations,your file is buried among them.Especially traveling 22 miles over the posted speed limit that is a reckless ticket the worst you can have no court is going to let that go.I also bet the employer will find that violation even if you don't put it on the application.

 

Yes, you should mention it on your application. It is better to tell the the whole truth and let the powers to be decide whether or not hire you, all based on the whole truth.

They could very well hire you for being a truthful person.

At least you won't have the stress of being accused of falsifying an application and being terminated for it.

When it comes to your MVR noone hires based on being truthful the insurance companies make the decision.

 

Take the good advice, don't hide it. You don't want a surprise route to the terminal or have that thought in the back of your mind all the time. There are plenty of drivers out there with worse records. You don't want some crap on your DAC if you get found.

 

You are right. Honesty can actually hinder your ability to pay the bills.

You are still much better off telling the whole truth. You do NOT want any documentation put into a file of being any type of liar whatsoever.
It is the equivalent of having the record of a convicted felon. It stays with you for a long time to come, if not for life.

You are able to earn a living and pay the bills.
If worse comes to worse, you may have to work at another job for a certain number of years to get that speeding ticket behind you, depending upon the trucking companies, anywhere from 3 to 10 years.

In the mean time, do everything possible to drive safely and avoid getting any more tickets for as long as possible.

NOTE:
I myself am in the position of NOT being able to pass a D.O.T. physical, to be able to go to a truck driving school to learn how to drive a truck. This means that I currently cannot drive professionally, OTR or LTL.
I am working very hard to improve my health, every which way possible, HOPING to be able to eventually pass a D.O.T. physical.
In the mean time, I recently hit my 10 year mark at my current job, (since 4/17/2007).
I also hit my 10 year mark of no violations, (speeding tickets, running red lights, failure to yield right of way, and passing a school bus with it's red flashers on).
This year will be my 3rd. year of no accidents, (no fault accident in 2014, no fault accident in 2010, no fault accident in 1997, and an at fault accident in 1995).
In the mean time, I am still working towards the goal of eventually becoming an OTR truck driver, HOPING to be able to drive all 48 states and Canada. I am current 60, will be 61 this year.
