So the shoes on my truck are starting to get thin, so my boss asked do i think they will last til my next home time *like 3 months * . I said i will keep a close eye in them to make sure their not to thin so we don't get an OOS. That doesn't bother me at all...... what bothers me is i go to check them is at evety truck stop it smells like freakin piss....

    EVERY WHERE!!!!!!

SO now i drop the trailer to check them... instead of quickly laying on the ground to measure....nobody wants to lay in urine.....like find a bush or a jug ffs

What s even worse is when the truck next to you took a crap or dropped a bag of crap in between your truck and theirs, or even puked

Those who do not respect others enough to abstain from disgusting habits will first have to respect themselves before that behavior will change. If they, as adults, have not acquired that self-respect, they probably never will.

Hey, check them while being loaded or onladed. Sounds like you are a company driver so this might be the best way.

I carry one of those blue vinyl (I think) tarps from home depot. Throw it on the ground and scoot under the trailer. Works great on snow and wet ground. Just remember to try and dry it off so it doesn't get moldy.you can wash it at the fuel island.
