Oilfield Opportunities For A Fresh Grad?

Should take home $900-1100 weekly

 

You gotta do some real work in the oilfield to take home more than that.

 

You have to bend some rules and break others to make over 1200 per week down here.

 

Wow. Texas oilfield don't pay crap.

 

You can go to North Dakota and make more. Or if you want to be local foodservice delivery pays good. Like Sysco. I was making 1700 gross a week here in upstate NY. Home everyday, weekends off and benefits. They only thing is that its senority on the routes but i think you would be fine in Houston.

 

I think the only way someone is going to make money that's worth it is if you make your life here in ND. Not saying you can't give it a try, but good paying oilfield jobs running legal are hard to come by. I was pretty fortunate when I went back to my old company and scored this gig.

 

Hauling crude? Yeah you are right. You're not going to make decent money taking a couple weeks off every month you have to be dedicated and pretty much live there full-time unless you're on a Frac crew or something like that.
