No one worth leasing to has those restrictions. The only restrictions the good owner pattie companies have is 1: is it presentable, no body damage or flaking paint, naked women painted on, etc. Basically it has to look professional. 2:does it pass a thorough dot inspection? 3: can their elog plug into it.
Who to lease on to???

I'd add one more point, that they would not pick and choose freight for you. Those who do, they will always have some disagreement with you sooner or later. It is essential to have freedom to decide where, when and for how much.bulldawg trucker, rollin coal, The Boss Lady and 1 other person Thank this.

Very true. But as far as i know, if you stay away from the companies with stupid restrictions such as age and mileage, you eliminate those that also want to force loads on you.bulldawg trucker and TallJoe Thank this.

In my opinion, try to find a company that has their own load board for you to find the loads that best suits you, I know companies like celadon, mercer, and land star have loads try checking them out first Because you never know what could be thrown at you when you have a dispatcher telling you where to go.
