I think owner ops running their own numbers should be exempt from logs due to the fact that its their arse on the line if they screw up. They will lose business and most likely be sued for everything they own. Employees should run logs to protect them from unscrupulous companies forcing them to run when tired, sick, etc. If we have to run logs, i vote for 11hr drive time in 24hr period with 8 hr reset. Let us deal with pos shippers and receivers for detention and get rid of 14hr.

What problem do you anticipate? Detroit parts are easy to find. Clutches are clutches, a 14613 made in 1999 is different than one made in 2009? Tires, brakes, whatever, parts are no harder find, and many less necessary.
I spent a week in Fruita, CO waiting for a plastic radiator tank for a 4 year old Volvo. My 23 year old W900L has a metal tank, so I don't need to worry about cheap plastic breaking.Tall Mike, Joetro, spyder7723 and 2 others Thank this. -

No, but I've never heard of any company that would hire a recent graduate to pull a bottle.

I really wish that you guys would keep on point.
We talk about or respond to a topic of discussion, then a lot of you guys go off on tangents that have absolutely nothing to do with the thread.
