Well I would agree with you except for some of the Loves and Pilots I've been to. They don't seem like smart people came up with the layout.

Not with the angled spots. With those you can only blind side back.
Case in point, the TA East in Denver.

You might not believe it but, those are actually not blindside back in.

They're meant to be pull in nose first.
Granted it still doesn't make sense.

That's even worse lol. I've never parked nose in. Backing out of that is 100% blind from any traffic at all.

Go slow when backing out of a pull in spot.

I've noticed that most petros are pull in but very few do. Petro outside Knoxville TN is where i had that epiphany.

The people who paint the strips do it that way because like the IDIOT that told them to do it that way they know ZERO about driving a truck. Whether you are good at blind siding or not it makes no difference, a blind side back should never be done unless it is the last resort. Old school common sense, a rare commodity these days.

I tend to agree with jammer910z, avoidant of the big joints with poor parking, I had the nose torn right off a beautiful 84 Western Star ,just out of the paint shop. B4st4rd did it while I was in the cafe and ran off. Took the hood, rad and bumper.

It's really not that big of a deal. Roll your Windows down turn up thee ol CB and back on out slow and easy.
By the way pfj's that have that layout are old petro locations.
