Have to give out props to wakefern corp in Elizabeth, NJ. Got there 15 minutes before my appointment, was in a door within 15 minutes. 45 minutes later I was out of the gate. Security guards were extremely polite and friendly, lumper representative very polite and friendly, $100 for an entire truckload wasn't too excessive. Overall a surprisingly good experience.

Can anyone here help me out. I'm a new venture. I want to get loads from wakefern, I've heard they pay pretty good. How do I go about it? What are the requirements and who should I speak to? I tried calling in and I keep getting transferred everywhere and then I get an answer machine. Just need to be pointed in the right direction lol. If anyone can help my email is Jsalas3010@yahoo.com and thanks in advance.

I may have been there. It would not surprise me at all. Jersey and Hunts Point was bread and butter to me delivered nightly from Baltimore with Salt from Seneca Lake Azko back south to Maryland.

Set up your truck as you would set up your home so you can sit and rest a week waiting on people.

We once (Wife and I) were told by three FFE Dispatchers to hurry up emergency go to Americold in Salinas CA. Near the Coast. We got that poor tractor bounced into the place, walked in ready to do battle and we were told to go back out and sit in the dock corner and wait until they call us.

51 hours. Burned half the fuel in our tanks, burned half the reefer fuel keeping precold ate some of our food, fluids, roasted half the videos, cooked the grill a time or two outside, watched soap operas until I felt like hurting someone... out of sheer frusteration. Sleep and sleep and sleep some more.

Never. Again. Dispatch emergency is not our problem due to their lack of preplanning.

I used to deliver wakefern in keasbey weekly , with only a few exceptions I was always in and out in less than 2 hours from the time I bumped the dock .
Always pulled and broke down my own meat loads tho.
