Central dispatch is full of inactive MC numbers, carriers that shut down their authority and are making some money now by booking loads and reposting them for as little as possible.
One way they do it is they are falsifying insurance certificates and sending them back to CD so they keep account open.
Please, if you know about carrier or broker that is inactive but have his account open on Central consider few options:
    - list the name of such entity here and or
    - call central dispatch and let them know. Hide your caller ID if you want to remain anonymous
    - call central dispatch and request better screening of new or renewing businesses

Please share it with anyone who may possibly help. Prices there are way too low already. There is no room for con artists there.

    Thank you again

    DUNE-T and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

Its your responsibilty as a carrier or a broker to screen who you doing business with,a quick mc# check on the fmsca website will tell u whether u dealing with a legit business.
I only deal with 100% rated parties who's been in business for at least 2 years and call ahead before driving to pick up locations.
They can repost loads as cheap as they want nothing going on my trailer unless its making me a reasonable profit.
Its always easier to blame others for our lack of business common sense, that being said i never dealt with more corrupt group of people than those in the auto industry whether selling or transporting

Totally agree but it is up to us to each do our part as the op has asked to help clean up our industry.
Not just ignore corruption and move on.
