Here's a perfect example of opinions being completely worthless.
Without an oscilloscope you're wasting your time.

Seriously there are a lot of things you don't see on a digital scope that you can see a CRT scope, seriously?

    Tell that to Textronix.

They've been making them wrong for a while now.

OK waste of time, a bash of one cb'er to another.

Not bashing the operator per se, but simply his "opinion" that Mike is the high fidelity guru and bashing the idea that an operator can change audio drive levels without an oscilloscope and magically get those negative peaks right where they need to be for peak performance. The odds of that happening are about the same as winning the lottery.

Notice Craigs radio sounds phenomenal in comparison at a small fraction of money spent.

People are easily dazzled by a wall of test equipment and a technician with textbook knowledge, but the proof is in the performance of the equipment in the real world.

I agree with what you say, but again I will repeat this -

Seriously there are a lot of things you don't see on a digital scope that you can see a CRT scope, seriously?

    Tell that to Textronix.

I thought Craig has a crap load of money invested in this, or did I miss something?

$46.00 for the Palomar SL41 vs hundreds of dollars for the Heil PR781 and mixing console plus cables.
    Craigs sounds much nicer.

Agreed again but I'm going say this again, when ever anyone makes the claim about scopes, it makes everything else suspect that they say to people like me.

OK I will say this really really slow

I agree craig's setup sounds better.

BUT when someone makes the comment like this stupid one - "there are a lot of things you don't see on a digital scope that you can see a CRT scope"

It means to people like me who know better that everything that comes out of the guy's mouth is not as credible no matter what the subject is. AND to add to that, so you get this, when people present some one with a big bad bench and then pop up with this comment, he seems to be just talking to an audience that he feels is dumber than most.

Sorry if this offends anyone but dealing with "experts" for the last week has me rather fighting the BS that they want everyone to believe.

    That's not the point.

You see the same thing on a digital scope as you do an analog, no differences.
