Better then flipping burgers or baking cookies.

It was the same way for me. I drove part time for them for about a year and it was just like @Western flyer said, as many miles as I could handle when I could handle it as fast as I could handle it as fast as I wanted to drive in really nice equipment, especially the Pete's. Dennison,Texas to Calexico, Ca to Charlotte to Dallas, rinse repeat with an occasional Michigan thrown in there. But that was back in '05 probably couldn't do now what I did back then.
Came in off of a trip one day, turned in my paperwork and the owners mom got on my case because I didn't "mail" my bill in. I replied to her, nicely and with a slight tone of disbelief, that I got it there faster than the mail could have, she continued getting crappy with me, said she didn't care, bye bye Western Flyer Express.
It was a shame because it was a perfect part time job for me and I was doing it because I loved to drive not because I needed the job and was paid decent for doing it in nice equipment but I wasn't in to being talked to like she was talking to me.
It does look like a Mega's yard now, sits right beside I-40/I-44 in OKC where everybody can see them with a Ginormous video board. Since I quit i've never heard anything nice about them, especially since they started this lease deal.Last edited: May 15, 2017

Oh yeah those guys, yep their at it again, just posted a add this morning in craigslist Tuscon, the pretty blue pete sitting in front of the Bass pro shops, and of course the usual "family company" sales pitch you will make $1.00-$1.10 mile loaded/empty 100% fsc blah blah blah, and then get towards the bottom where it says they have 2014-2016 Freightliners and Intertrashionals for lease, not the Pete lol.
