Quite often on this forum, it has been mentioned that there are many poorly trained or "I don't give a hoot drivers" that should be taken off of the roads, along with having their CDL's taken away from them.

Would it be a good idea for private trucking companies to LEGALLY have the power to strip a truck driver of his or her CDL, with the proper documentation?

No, if they are THAT BAD, they shouldn't have been hired to begin with.

I never had a CDL. I haven't been able to pass the physical.

I would like to have gone to a truck driving school to learn how to drive a truck. I would have liked to have been able to go OTR to all 48 states and Canada.

The trucking companies may not have realized just how bad the truck drivers were until after they had been hired.
