Those are vocational on road trucks 330 hp is more than enough. What part of tier 4 compliant construction equipment did you not understand?
-
If you don't know why they don't make them I'll tell you. They have to run them so hot to pass air laws the paint comes off.
-
Well the 8 or so pieces of DEF equipped Cat equipment in our fleet still have paint on the engines so far.
-
CAT builds the trucks in a plat in Victoria, TX.
-
How many have stuck open thermostats. You don't know. I've seen your trucks, weak at best.
-
I don;t really care one way or another. All I'm saying is there's no reason they can't. In fact a google search revealed they do have a lot of interest and plans of offering highway trucks with 15L engines. They already make the engines. All they need to do is make the truck.AModelCat Thanks this.

Those trucks are off road only
No on highway application. That's why you only have Volvo, Cummins, Detroit. And Paccar if you wanna call it a motor. Truth is half of you don't know what's under the hood, it could be a pride of lions for all you know. -
IDK if this was directed at me or not but don't even go there cause trust me, you're already out of your league. The wealth of experience and knowledge of the active members on here is immense.Socal Xpress, Tug Toy, Oxbow and 2 others Thank this.
