Hello.
I can receive just fine. But when I key the mic, I get static coming through the stereo? It wasn't doing this yesterday. Any clues?

We need some more information, like make and model of vehicle, m/m of radio, m/m of kicker (if any), and what kind of coax, mount, and antenna.
-
Are you using a cheap audio aux in cable? These are often not shielded, or at least not properly shielded.
-
16 Freightliner Cascadia. Striker 655. No kicker. Stainless steel mount from Bob's CB, coax from Bob's as well. Wilson 2000 antenna with extention.
-
No. I don't use AUX cables. Just Bluetooth. I do have a Wilson external speaker, I don't know if that matters.
-
You have an RF ground issue.

Its because your cb and stereo are tied into each other. I'm in another crapcadia now. My radio/cb will pop the fuse up there every time. It'll knock out the 6×9s but I don't care. It ends the problems.Last edited: May 18, 2017
