Been hauling dedicated freight for the Dept of Defense. It's been great, the company I work for has been great. Hate to leave but new ELD's coming up have me concerned with making less money. But that's not the only factor basing my decision. FMCSA is just taking the fun out of this #### for me plus my kids need me home daily.
So off to driving dump trucks, excavators, dozers and an array of other equipment building and maintaining forest roads in Oregon. Home every night, weekends. 12 to 14 hour days and all the overtime I can handle. Gotta love that 27.00 an hour overtime.
Off to do something new

Oh yeah..and because I'm in the forest all the time...rarely any weigh stations, not much traffic and dumbshits on the road. It's like 4wheeling in a diesel on those gravel mountain roads. Steep cliffs, lots of wildlife, no people. I guess that'll save me from becoming Serial in my old age
okiedokie Thanks this. -
It's like getting a job in trucker Heaven as beautiful as those mountains are
