Craigslist has an add posted in Dallas offering 2k a week to be a scab for a union dispute in Long Island.
Also paying all airfare, meals, and lodging... Only a minor chance of the union boys beating you down with a baseball bat lol.

In NYC the customers will be just as nasty to you as the striking drivers if the customers have a union workforce.
OLDSKOOLERnWV and passingthru69 Thank this. -
I have no urge to be a scab lol. Just curious if anyone else has heard about it.
-
First I've heard about it.
My first trucking job was with Midwestern Distribution out of Ft. Scott,KS and they had lots of freight to UAW plants. Those guys would slash tires, rip off air lines, knock holes in the trailers, just because we weren't union. The company put Teamsters decals on the trailers that were used for those loads and after that, no more vandalized trailers. -

Here is an article about it...

A 30 percent wage cut? That is an attention getter.
passingthru69 Thanks this. -
Don't know who is out.
We are union and do not cross any picket line regardless of affiliation, as per contract.
If you do not respect the line then take your chances.
Just saw post on company.OLDSKOOLERnWV Thanks this. -
Stuff like that is why I would never be a part of any union. The mindset that violence and vandalism is justified and that they deserve to be treated like special princesses just because they are "union members" is sickening to me. Grown men acting like spoiled, entitled children. This is America, if your employer doesn't pay you enough find a different one.mpow66m, Bean Jr., Expedite69 and 3 others Thank this.

So imagine a group of ticked off Drivers and Mechanics manning a picket line. And no doubt, there will be some beer drinking going on.
And here comes a scab driver in a tractor trailer from Texas.......
Nope, I think I would pass on that golden opportunity.Grubby, JC1971, OLDSKOOLERnWV and 3 others Thank this.
