At Panther you should always negotiate each load and ask for bonuses. Was there for 6 years made some good money there. But you have to keep asking for better bonuses and make sure your acceptance is above 70%.

I worked there for just over 3 months. I could not handle their shinanagans over bonus here bonus there, waiting for their "merciful hand" to "feed" me. I don't put up with a crap. Went broke while waited for my three months term to use my Quality truck deal to change that useless company.

I know this thread is a year old, but I just spoke with Panther. They have fixed rates now. Because we have endorsements the rate would be $1.65/mile $1.00/empty so they say.
I called them because we have been with FedEx CC since January and can't make enough money. We've had 3 cancelled loads this week alone. Yesterday we had arrived at the shippers when it cancelled. They give us load opportunities that are hundreds of miles away with no dh pay so we decline and try to negotiate. Our decline rate is high, but I'm not going to drive 400 miles for $50.00. We ignore a lot of messages too.
It's not just this week either, it's just been more than usual this week.
They also have too many dispatchers and no one has any answers.
We have also been taken off of a load because their computer algorithm said we wouldn't make it on time, we would have been there on time (early).
