What about the chronic dry eye problems people have?

 

I don't believe in LASIK, you only have one set of eyes, once you do Lasik, whether you have side effects or not, it's permanent.

I know there's alot of people that have success stories with LASIK, but in my opinion I rather keep wearing Contacts or Eyeglasses.

 

Yeah, keep the glasses. This site should be enough to make you spend that 2k on chrome and chicken lights.

I had lasik 7 years ago. I still can pass the medical exam never had dry eye syndrome or any other side effects. But over the years i notice reduction in my vision. Maybe in the future i will get another lasik.
P.s. i paid $1000 in total in overseas.

 

What state are you from that its going for 1k per eye? I've been pricing it in Northwest Indiana and its around 2k per eye.

I haven't talked to a person yet that regrets getting it done. I'm going to get it soon.

 

In Texas i see lots of ads for $800 per eye.

 

2 family members got LASIK. The delux treatment at $2500 per eyeball. They tickled pink 5 years now. Some of the lower cost treatments may require more surgery years down the line. Do it once, do it right! Never get fast good and cheap in same package

 

I got mine at the best hospital in europe and never had problems. Dont get fooled by those deluxe stuff. Just read the reviews. On this day and age you dont have to gamble. If a place is bad, reviews, ripoff reports, bbb complaints will tell you. $5000 total is an outrages charge. Those prices and word games are for rich people feeling good about their choice

 

The "scam"you sometimes see in LASIK eye ads is they quote the price for the LASIK only, and an asterisk that you can decipher to find out the real price for the procedure. It's like advertising $20* for an oil change, plus $15 for filter, $5 for removing filter, $5 for installing filter, $8 for disposing of old oil, $8 for disposing of old filter, etc.

For LASIK there are several common and necessary services you will require but isn't the price for the "cutting" of the eye itself. Many ads with shockingly low prices are only advertising the price of the cutting, not everything you will need & pay for. Read the fine print.
