I had a nephew get his CDL and grind away at hunt for 18 months until he finally got qualified at Forward Air (I told him to try and get in there as I've dabbled with them in past, and run alot of loads with their trailers at my current job), doing Lease purchase running Terminal to Terminal.
Since November he's average $5600 a week before deductions ($600/wk tractor for a 2017 Pete) and hes home every weekend except two (of course Christmas and New Years as luck would draw).
Is anyone else at FAF? I've thought about it, but I just love being local.

Forward Air has a local terminal, they do a lot of local work.
augiedoggie41 Thanks this. -
I've spoken with them, but the local stuff is more LTL, including home delivery. The piece that caught my eye was the terminal to terminal op.

Avg $5600 per week ? Last time I inquired with them they said $1 per mile for LTL and $1.10 for truck load and I was quoted $550 per week for 60 months for a 2012 Pro star (maxxforce) from their leasing company quality leasing in Indianapolis .

Well guys, I am pulling the trigger and going to give this a go. Moving from Chicago to OH with the family and run for their TLS division.
Bought a truck instead of going wit the lease purchase option. CST has told me they'll happily give me my company gig back if the OO job doesnt work out.
