I figured asking you guys is cheaper than asking an attorney. I got enough legal issues as it is with my divorce and custody situation I don't need any more problems. The guy was threatening to call his attorney and drag me into court over this recording.
Is it legal? What would you do?

Here is the thing and I can tell you from my experience, if his lawyer would even entertain taking it would jeopardize his license to practice if he considered any viability of suing you. If his lawyer moved to file to take you to court, I would expect your lawyer to file against his lawyer for ethics violation to the state bar - because this is the definition of frivolous.
ON top of that, he has no expectation of privacy, that goes away using public airwaves. So the clown can **** himself, no need to even worry about it, post more and let him stew, I would be glad to look at them.rabbiporkchop and G13Tomcat Thank this. -

No rabbi the sad part is that he believes he can intimidate you by screaming about you violating his privacy.
