Don’t like Electronic logs? You afraid you wont be able to donate time?

Is concrete even steady work? I know one guy his wife did it and she had to call in every morning to see if there was a job available.
I personally love my job, I just think its a scam by the government to not include OTR drivers as skilled and therefore exempt from the FLSA.

I have seen the end of trucking many times, but somehow I and many others survived.

First was the fuel shortage, then a national 55 mph speed limit, then deregulation, $5 fuel, the switch from 10 and 8 to 11 and 10, now elds The world won't end and the smart will survive,

 

I'm in the exact same boat! Just not sand.

 

The average local driver pay is 16 to 18 bucks an hour.
That's all I'm saying.
25 is not the norm. Far from it.

For every one of you there's a 100 that make 16

 

Everyone that aint a foo knows cement aint steady work either.

 

All I see are a bunch of pissant whiners. Oh I work for free. I don't know about any of you but I can fuel and be pulling out in under 15 minutes. Getting paid for sleeping? Not on my planet. No one made you take this job or keep doing it.

Hell my boss is an ###, he won't even pay me for changing the oil, greasing or repairing the truck.

 

Oh and puppies are on the way.
