If you do park at the T/A don't go any farther than the nearest door of the truck stop and your truck. It's tempting to walk across the street to waffle house, but don't do it. Bums and hookers seem to magically appear once you step a mere few feet from the parking area to the actual building.

I'm probably a little late... just got stopped myself. Exit 205, the Shell station in Clanton is usually where I stay if I'm coming from the north. If you can camp out there long enough for them to start making breakfast, the bacon egg and cheese biscuits are the best.
I believe Forward Air is near the entrance to Hodges... second exit off Northern Blvd, turn right... here:Last edited: May 31, 2017

Never have because I've never needed to. But still got to ask just in case I need a last resort.

Yes, as long as it's got room and there aren't any no parking signs.

Off Jackson Ferry Rd, a lot of drivers park beside the old Winn Dixie DC, and along the street by MBM. If you re looking for decent truck parking, I would go 30-40 miles north of Montgomery on I 65(Clanton/ Jemison area). You have a Love s, a few mom and pop truck stops, a rest area and a restaurant called Jack s that have truck parking. Other than the TA, you ll either have the Flying J at exit 156 or the Love s and Petro I 85 exit 20

I stayed at a sunoco owned by an Indian family. Off 65 on 146. Awesome place. Pulled in at 1730 with only 4 other trucks there. The liqour store attached to the fuel desk was tempting.TripleSix and Just passing by Thank this.
