I am relocating to the Charlette area at the end of June and I've been looking on all web sites for a good local or semi local job. Any help would be appreciated. I came across a few and talked to recruiters but I know there is companies out there that need drivers and don't advertise. If anyone knows of any feel free to let me know.

@Chinatown is our resident expert on companies that hire. He should be along soon. Good luck.

Most tanker companies don't have to advertise. Also most line haul companies don't have to advertise, but for those you need hazmat endorsement and doubles endorsements.

RUAN has a dedicated account for Publix grocery stores out of Gastonia, NC. The money is good, the work is easy, the hours can be crazy, but it's a good gig.

I worked on that account for about 9 months. Some guys that got on that account when it first started got the gravy and profitable milk runs. I know of two guys that broke 80K, I was on track to do about 63K. No touch freight, go to the D.C. Pick up a pre loaded trailer, hit your stores and go back to the yard.

ADM in Charlotte they pull there own freight out of ADM flour mill.I know they make between $1100 -$1400 a week home daily and have great benefits and 401k and a separate ADM pension. Also styline is looking for drivers out of Charlotte that's a weekend home deal.and as China posted a lot of LTL companies hiring.Ruan is hiring I guess there always running ads.Cardnail logistics has some dedicated home every other day and weekends off they say $1100 a week avg.heard there benefits were expensive don't know.
