I wish I would of been old enough to go truckin in the "Snowman" days. I've heard some great stories from those days. Hope your enjoying your weekend.

I'm bored, so here's an additional techy post about the new phone. I use Spotify for my music. I'm not sure if the difference I'm experiencing is the phone or an app update. But holy hell the sound is better. And the output is louder than before, and the sound is much cleaner. This phone has something that the S6 did not, and that's the ability to take a micro SD card. Gonna have to get one of those. Just like a computer, if you start using too much memory the speed slows down. I haven't finished downloading music at I'm approaching 13 gigs, so it's time for a card. Thank God they're cheap. You can go to Best Buy and snag a decent UHS-1 rated 64GB card for $30. Plenty good enough for music and apps. UHS-1 is rated for high speed cameras, so the data transfer is seamless. I wouldn't settle for a lower rating, it isn't worth the couple bucks you'll save. There are cards with higher ratings, but I feel it would be a waste of money for my purposes. I'm still debating whether or not to use this phone as my mapping phone, because it can be really hard on the display if you leave it on while driving like I do. But on the other hand, I'm getting another one of these phones in December when my other contract expires. Part of me wants to turn this nasty processor loose and let it blow me away with its speed, part of me wants to preserve it and abuse the old phone until it's done. Decisions, decisions. I've noticed something else with this phone. The Google Maps seems to be much more responsive. Google does a way better job than my GPS when it comes to traffic warnings. Accidents, construction, detours, slowdowns, etc. My S6 was pretty good, but this phone is just sick. WAY better. So this thing might be getting introduced to a really hard life when I go back on Tuesday. I have to go to my truck in the morning to mount this thing, so I guess I'll figure it out then. I remember when Bill told me that Perry had multiple phones and multiple cameras in his truck. I thought he was being funny and exaggerating. Nope. He wasn't. I thought it was a bit ridiculous at the time, but now I get it. Perry didn't use his stuff to anywhere near its full potential but he's got the right idea. Kind of. Tomorrow I'll be making a video for @FalconsFan21. I'm not going to post it. But if you are reading this and you're interested I'll email it to you if you send me a pm and give me your email address. You might find it helpful, then again you might not. But, it's there for you if you want it. I'll be going over my trip planning process and how I use my phone and GPS to make life smooth and easy. Or at least as smooth as it can be. Alrighty y'all. I'm signing off. Catch you on the flipside. Peace.

A Peeps fan? Did you try the Peep Oreo's around Easter? A sugar rush in every bite!

So, here I am sitting at home and chomping at the bit to get back on the road. I love and will of course miss my family, but I am bored out of my mind and I'm ready to run. So tomorrow begins my new run and I can't wait. I'm hoping for my usual Smuckers run that sends me to Georgia. That's where I go most of the time when coming back. But whatever I get, being back in the truck will feel good. Got my phones switched, got my new mounts installed, let's do this! Gonna go grab some sleep, then hit Walmart for groceries, then it's fly time. I miss my baby.

Well, I got a load going to Georgia, but not going to Fairburn, and not coming from Smuckers. I deadheaded to Ellwood City, PA and picked up a load going to Valdosta, GA. I've never been to the shipper, but I've been to the Valdosta Lowe's DC many times. Pretty easy spot to drop, and things move pretty quickly there. I'm currently in Savanah about 4 hours from my final. And I'm at a truck stop I hope to never see again. I fully intended to go to a Pilot not far from here. However, I passed the truck entrance and had nowhere to turn around for miles. So, I found this "truck stop" on the fly. Just in the nick of time, too. I had 9 minutes left on my clock. I wanted a shower and some decent food. But, I'll have to settle for a hobo cleanup in the truck and gas station grub. Awesome. All because that Pilot didn't mark the entrances. Thanks for that. Oh well, I'm sure tomorrow will be better. I'll be at the final around 7am with plenty of time left to run, so the day should start well. I am hoping that I don't get pinned in here where I'm parked. There's room for about 10 trucks, and there are about 20 packed in here. Should be interesting. Gentlemen, place your bets. Gonna make this a short post today, I need to grab some sleep. Talk to y'all tomorrow. Hope you guys enjoyed the holiday. Thanks to all the vets out there who made our freedom possible. Peace.

Hello everyone, was wondering if you could answer so questions for me. What trucks do they have? Auto or manual? Do they have cameras? What are the trucks governed at? Apus in trucks? Do they provide fuel and routing or is that up to the drivers? Do they have a pet policy?
