Charge it for awhile. Then try. When I get back to the truck I will look and let you know.

Charge it.
Hold power button on back for about 7 seconds to do reset. -
Thanks, I've already got an RMA for replacement, but I'll try that before shipping it back. Batteries are very flaky in these apparently, if they're not kept charged they just quit.
-
Did that work for you Breezy?

Nurp. No biggie. I'm on hiatus for asthma/allergy treatments and don't have to have it right now. Just want to make sure it's ready to go if I can return to trucking soon...

Yeah mine would flake out and randomly turn off. I forgot there wasn't a button on this one. You just hold in the power button forever. It works for a while, then will do it again randomly.
I miss my RandMcNally. We used the British Guy's voice and called him Jeeves. Easier to think of it as a person when I'm grumbling at it. Lol. -
I had a 720, and in some ways it was easier to use, and had a bit more POI info, but it eventually began acting like it was habitually smoking crack. Constantly froze up toward the end. The RM rep who frequents this site did try to help, to their credit, but directing someone to sift through 600+ pages of discussion to find a solution to my problem doesn't really help. The latest 'update' they gave me did nothing, and I've heard the 730s are even worse. I bought a deZl 770LMT-HD the next day and never looked back. Never gave me a problem until now.
