Okay. I just tried externally priming the system again. As I kept pressure In the external primer tank, I could feel the fuel being forced into the system.. as it was doing that, I checked the fuel tanks with a flashlight. I discovered the right tank making lots of noise and seen fuel rushing in... So now I know that a check valve is stuck. I just don't know which one or where it is. If someone could help me on locating the right one, that would be sweet.
Need help from any DD16 guru's.

id feed that sob ether till it picked up not making any money sitting there lol not a good idea but sounded good
-
I have fed it ether... Except ether won't stop the fuel from just flowing back into the fuel tank. Lol so I'm replacing my two stage fuel valve that's in the pump as well as the injector lines, and the two high pressure lines since they are technically a one time use lines. As well as the common rail since that was the original problem from the beginning. I'd hate to spend the money on all this just to continue to have a fuel leak from the rail.
-
The pressure limiting valve is on the back side of the fuel rail (like towards the firewall back). That bano bolt is the return line for the PLV, there should be very little fuel flow through that line ever.
-
Very little fuel came out of banjo bolt.
Here's what I got now...
Replaced injector lines, two high pressure supply lines with new TSB. Replaced hp valve in pump, two stage valve in pump. Totaling $771... Externally primed four gallons through the primer port, and proceeded to hand pump 300pumps with the hand pump.
Results????
-- dead battery, broken external primer pump, and an engine that didn't even try to hiccup for a start up....
I'm at a complete loss.. does anybody know a clever way to burn this &#@_er down to claim insurance and not get caught??? -
rubbing alcohol goes a long way,( thats all i can suggest to your question )the only thing you got left and i hate to say this is actually injectors i've seen about 5 cascadias do the same #### so far 2 of them at fuel islands just shut off and no start
-
Really? Thats interesting. They they throw codes?
-
But all six go bad? I mean, even if there were two functioning injectors, I would at least suspect a hiccup during starting up. Or rough idle.

RocketyMan Thanks this.

I hear you. And I'm definitely done spending money. I was talking to another tech who said he uses a ecos priming system to prime systems that have been taken apart. I did research and learned that it takes at least 87lbs just to open up the two stage valve and allow fuel to flow into the rest of the system and not just back into the tank.
I no longer have the dlink. It'll cost me $400 to have a guy come over with the laptop.... No joke. Minimum two hour charge plus 120 just to hook up computer. It's ridiculous. So tomorrow, I'm gonna be on the hunt for someone who has either a ecos or davco priming tool that can pressurise my system better than my weed killer spray bottle... Lol if whoever has the priming tool also has the dlink, then of course I'll monitor my pressures and let you know.
