Have you asked the guy who did your delete if anything you did could effect his programming?

Take a picture of the driver side of your frame rail pointing to the left side of the engine. I wanna see everything.

If you prime the fuel system but still have air getting into the pump--it's going to be pumping in air in the lines.

How do we know everything is connected up correctly when you removed the fuel rail and rocker cover? Do you still have the rocker cover off? Didn't you remove some of the injectors?

You might have to throw in the towel in on this thing--get it to a FTL dealer. No sense on replacing parts if you don't know why you're replacing them/can't confirm--like what @mhyn was saying.

@RocketyMan I would take a picture of it, but the tow truck just took it to Freightliner about ten minutes ago.
I know you don't know me from Adam but I do consider myself to have a decent amount of knowledge when it comes to engines. At least the basics without all the expensive tools too. I know it was put together correctly and properly torqued. I didn't pull rocker cover off and didn't mess with the injectors.

I have a feeling it's still air like you were saying, but I've been told that if you crank it over and you can't pump the hand primer, that it is primed, or primed enough that it should at least attempt to start. But I was at my last straw last night so now I guess I get to go on vacation since the closest frtlner dealer is a week out from fixing my truck... Hence the reason I was trying to solve it myself.

@Codynidaho ya that's a tough situation. I don't imagine your injectors would just go belly-up for no reason. Just like what was mentioned before, it would be very difficult to know for sure unless you have DLink professional--which costs ~$400 like you said.

I don't think debris got into the system, but if it did during the cleaning process... I assume maybe it could have clogged the injectors and that could be a reason for not starting either.

You don't use that crummy bio diesel, do you?

Well seeing as I'm 100 miles from any other town, I have no choice. But at the flying j here, surprisingly they have different percentages. A few pumps are 20, most are 10. And I think... One pump is 5. Unless they just haven't changed the stickers which wouldn't surprise me in this hell hole. But I did some reading on the dd16 and i guess they make some tweaks on newer engines so they can handle bio diesel. In fact the reused oil in the fuel actually helps lubricate the system. Which is why they say adding fuel additives is almost a waste of money. Also the fact that you don't want to add additives because it can clog your dpf filters faster.... If you still have them. ;)

Depending on your exact BOSCH injectors, bio diesel will clog the injectors and prevent them from shutting closed due to the copper reacting with the bio diesel. Ask me how I know what happens to injectors and bio diesel....lol

    (bio is bs)

Haha.. bad experience I'm guessing. If the banks weren't so blind to the fact that newer isn't always better, I wouldn't be in this situation. Would have stuck with my cats which have never gave me a problem. Or the 60series if I must.
