There's too many trucking jobs available to have to deal with slip seating.

Yeah, Outward facing is tolerable. Driver facing? I'll pass.

I work for YRC. There's my give away. Our Equipment sucks, point blank. Dirty as ####, uncomfortable no radios So obviously most guys have a slip seat radio box. Just again, I'd take less and get some decent equipment. I had a good week probably made 1,500 gross. So, I'll shut up until next week.Just skeeves me out sometimes.

Some guy is seeing if he can put me on his insurance.. Hiring me to run a Conestoga home on weekends for 27% of the load. We shall see....

If you need me, I'll just be over here dry heaving and gagging while I drink this Red Bull.

I guess it would depend on what kind of fish it smelled like.

I was at a shipper one time during their lunch break and one guy drank a quart of buttermilk, ate a bag of Gummy Bears and block of clear lunch meat. I don't remember what that lunch meat is called but it's clear. Someone on here knows what it is.
This was at a tree farm in McMinnville,TN.

I agree, it's not worth a little extra money to sit in another guy's filth all day.

I gross about 1200 on a good week but I am day cab. Our otr guys make more. Whereabouts do you live? Maybe my company would be a better fit for you...

As an immigrant myself, I take offense to your bias. My truck is one of the cleanest in our fleet and also one of the oldest. Trying to blame a whole section of society for a flaw in character that is unrelated to nationality is pretty lame.

I hear you. We are a nation built on immigrants. However, the last 10 years or so that has been flowing in to trucking, particulary since 9-11, that week of which I had a encounter with a middle eastern trucker in Memphis at the pilot while fueling. Me in boots him in dirty barefeet paying for fuel and needing a shower. It leaves something to be desired.

I do have opionions and sometimes it's not the correct form of opinion that society will allow me to have these days. But I do listen to you and what you have to say and take it into consideration.

I was a pig myself once upon a time until a particular trainer beat it out of me to keep a clean truck. Once I found the joys of having everything stowed in it's place there is no problem anymore. It's really difficult to remove a chip from someone else's arm when there is a board in the eye.

Take care and rest easy. All is well. We are talking peacefully and frankly I think it's a very good thing to do. I always learn something every day.
