cnsper, Landincoldfire and Bean Jr. Thank this. -
??????
You be wanting a empty trailer, did you see a empty trailer when you loaded that 34,662 aboard? What else did he have in that trailer? Do you remember?
That's tiny for freight.
Reefers, I expect a great dane carrier 53 footer to be under 16000 trailer tare and I think the 2001 century with team drivers plus 1000 pounds could just about put 47K in the box allowing for pallets. on half tank fuel for scaling purposes. Otherwise it's 46700 with 340 gallons aboard.
If he hit a CAT scale or your scale and revaled at 77540 gross, what was in his freaking trailer? did you see? -
Perhaps the driver lied about scaling the load to save face for the company. If I had a driver who told me he wouldn't load to capacity, buh bye
LoudOne Thanks this. -
Cut the rate on that guy. Everyone else is around 42k at least.
-
If he had spread axle be able put more weight on back
-
I know just saying image spreads weight in a tad more then a normal tandem axle trailer though I still don't see how he could weight 43000 empty . Clearly he had 2 or 3 pallets he wanted to boost the rate.
-
If it was a large car and his truck that heavy then he needs to pull flatbed or van lightweight loads.
-
I have a KW T800 with 97" ARI sleeper. Halve tank of fuel two people incl water for shower and toilet and 53ft Utilty reefer trailer I weight 37,750.
Dave_in_AZ, wore out and passingthru69 Thank this. -
