As a Student, I am inquiring: What do truckers do while waiting 4 hours to unload?

Make money replying to your question. I am reading through "The Complete Works of Edgar Allen Poe" and cooking a pizza. I may play Halo in a minute.
El Paso Bob Thanks this. -
Unless it's certain it's going to be two hours, I don't put on a flick. I hate to cut it short. Even if it's one I've seen. I do all the other things mentioned. Sleep, read, go online.
Also, I plug in my karaoke tracks and sing a little. Yes, I really can sing.Last edited: Aug 12, 2017

I watch pre-trip inspection videos on YouTube with the volumn cranked all the way up.

I almost never wait to get unloaded. Rarely a few places only have room for one truck, or someone blocks you. I load and unload my own truck so it's s little different.

What do you do while waiting to unload? The same as when you're doing a layover at a truckstop:

I pull off all the straps chains binders and whatever else then tell them chop chop I got #### to do and places to be.
Sirscrapntruckalot and Bakerman Thank this.
