I have changed leaking injector, replaced two stage valve, emptied fuel rail, replaced high pressure feed lines, drained fuel from high pressure pump on dd15 and always primed with hand pump. You guys are talking about air in the injectors. So what new boxed injectors are coming fuel primed inside ? :) before taking off fuel rail all injectors were ok. what happened to them? they all got stack ... not realistic . if you run the engine by starting fluid 30 second all air will be purged from injectors if injectors are opening and closing. Ecm opens injector's valves. I don't believe that your problem was worn injectors.

Well I troubleshot every other situation. Kind of the reason I was on here. O find it hard that it was the injectors too since I've done the same thing to diesel pickups. But it's weird how they say injectors, replace them, and bam, it starts. Im sure the shops are sly sometimes but why would they want to put more work in than they have too. It's not like the shop in Odessa is hurting for work. They are slammed from open to close.

Injectors were fine before. But according to them, the dd16 injectors get fussy if air gets in. That's what he told me.

Oh they replaced injector harness too. That could have been it. But I checked it and it all checked out. I'll post a picture of the mechanics diagnosis.

Yeah..."air locked" injectors happens all the time. BUT if it was because of debris or something clogging them, shore...replace the injectors. Although, the chances of all 6? Sounds more like both the wire harness would be the problem since that was replaced.

They didn't do step 1 in crank no-start troubleshooting. Which is checking for fuel in the exhaust, indicating a stuck injector. I've replaced 18 injectors on a single truck because they would be stuck right out of the box. They engineered these fuel systems for good quality German fuel, not our crap.
