Don't you have a switch on that tractor to go back and forth from city horn to air horn?
Hey, it really doesn't matter what anybody else thinks. YOU were the one on scene, to make the determination if it was appropriate, OR NOT. Sounds to me like you used a bit of discretion.malinorn Thanks this. -

My husband said sorta the same. Broke their little hearts!
The hood of the cab hides about 10 feet in front. I'd have changed lanes if possible. -
I did it while in training for SNI. Lol. TE just said "if it's a child requesting it, you must do it" and laughed. The kids face was priceless. She just lit up. Loved it
KillingTime Thanks this. -
I always do. Of course, the folks here saying don't do it for safety reasons are also correct. I was coming down through Carlisle PA one evening heading home and I blew my airhorn at PA's finest on the shoulder. Dropped his darn donut and spilled his coffee. I know that fella probably had some burns.

Kinda true.... I gave a blast to two little, arm pumping, faces pressed against the rear window in Alabama. Car lurched forward at the stop sign. Lol. I could see the kids flipping out in glee that it worked!...... Probably had their ##### chewed the whole way home. Win some; lose some.Annonymous, Panhandle flash, Big Don and 1 other person Thank this.
